Hello,
It is very difficult to find an idle translator now. They either say they're busy or on a vacation and i have little experience in finding a good one. I want to know if you will be available to translate my low budget 11,799 word document from ENGLISH TO FRENCH LANGUAGE. It is based on HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT FOR SMALL ORGANIZATION. Will you charge me extra money if i request you deliver the translated document in power point format? You can get in touch with me if you can deliver it before 15th, December , 2013 so that i can send you the document for you to go through it. But if you are also busy, I will appreciate it if you can introduce me to an experienced and time concious translator.

Thank you and Best Regards,
Dammy Teddy.

My reply:

Dear Dammy,

thank you for your mail.

You may not have found any competent translators due to your low budget. May be it is too low…?

What is your budget limit for this project?

Kind regards,

Frank MÖRSCHNER

His reply:

My budget is not low. I just felt they are incompetent to handle such translation. My budget is between 0.08 and 0.10 Euro. What do you think? Find attached the document to be translated and get back to me. I hope you will find it interesting

My reply:

Dear Dammy,

what company or translation agency are you actually representing. If you are a freelance translator, do you have any website or other trustworthy reference ?

His prompting mail:

Hello Frank,
I have not heard any response from you, What is the next thing?

My reply:

Kind regards,

Frank

This is not actually the reply to my enquiry. The rate is not, at this stage, of any relevance.

Before I enter into any professional relationship, I need to have trustworthy information about the business partner. You seem to be not forthcoming with such vital information.

If you have not received my mail, please answer following queries:

1. What company or translation agency do you represent?
2. If you are a freelance translator, do you have a Website or any other trustworthy reference? (Are you verifiably registered with a professinoal institution, revenu office, chamber of commerce, translator association or such like)?
3. If you have found on a translation platform (or directory), which one was it?

Please do not ignore these queries as your mail may be otherwise regarded as a scamming scheme, which I need to report. Thank you, for your understanding.

Kind regards,

Frank
